    Resilience

... allows us to weather the challenges we face, and the ability to do so with flexibility and strength. Resilience is being as realistic as we can about what may lie ahead, and the ability to increase our capacity to access the tools we have and gather others. Resilience is pulling together and using our resources to navigate the storms. Resilience recognizes that we can reach beyond our comfort zones and usual circles. Applying

                                                                                                                                   can help us turn

what at first may have seemed like a disaster, into opportunity

    curiosity, innovation, and imagination

    Resistance

...acknowledges that there are things that we cannot abide or condone. Our work and play at this event will include how to exercise our "no" in ways that don't shrink our capacity. This could be acknowledging what must change, maintaining clear boundaries, and taking steps to ensure transformation of the intolerable... these actions drive us to seek safety and healing within ourselves and with each other, and must be addressed at all levels if we are to manifest our vision of a

    conscious, just, and peaceful world

    Regeneration

... emanates from being resourced enough to creatively move through and beyond cycles of crisis. Regeneration comes from freeing ourselves from outmoded ways of thinking, feeling, and doing (or not doing), and unleashing our potential. Regeneration goes beyond surviving... to thriving. Regeneration unlocks empowered receptivity, promotes thoughtful response, and locates

new paths forward, together, toward joy and connection

then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid." ~Audre Lorde
